Ukraine will receive €400M from its partners this week to produce drones.

Ukraine and its partners will soon agree on how to allocate these funds for Ukrainian drone production, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. According to him, another €400M will be deposited into the accounts of Ukrainian drone manufacturers this week.

The president added that there is an agreement with the Netherlands already in place. Meanwhile, Odesa-based engineering team Technari, known for the ePPO app, is working on its own interceptor drone, called the Mangust. This reusable UAV with a jet engine and automatic homing system is designed to destroy Shahed drones using a multi-barreled shotgun.

Technari has already secured investments to scale up its production, built a squadron of Mangust prototypes, and plans to transfer them to anti-aircraft missile brigades for testing. After testing, the company is ready to begin serial production.

Also, Germany is preparing for a wave of multi-billion dollar defense purchases, including 20 Eurofighter jets, up to 3,000 Boxer armored vehicles, and up to 3,500 Patria infantry fighting vehicles. It is expected that Germany’s defense budget will increase to around €83B in 2026, up from €20B in 2025.
