Ukraine will receive additional 155-millimeter ammunition and long-range GLSDBs, and the Neptune missile is capable of striking targets at 1,000 kilometers.

According to President Zelenskyy, Ukraine has signed an agreement with international partners to purchase 155-millimeter artillery shells and has already completed payment. He also highlighted a significant outcome of the Czech initiative to procure artillery ammunition, noting that by mid-February 2025 the Czech Republic had delivered 1.6 million shells to Ukraine and guaranteed supplies until April.

Meanwhile, the US will resume shipments of long-range shells to Ukraine, known as ground-launched small-diameter bombs (GLSDBs), after they were upgraded to enhance their effectiveness against Russian interference. This ammunition will be supplied amid reports that Ukraine’s stock of similar-range tactical missile systems (ATACMS) has been depleted. The GLSDB rockets have a range of 161 km.

President Zelenskyy also pointed out that a modified version of the Neptune cruise missile has been effectively deployed at a range of 1,000 kilometers, thus enabling Ukraine’s utilization of the so-called Long Neptune.
