Ukraine will create a single logistics space for trade with the EU and the world.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal discussed creating a single logistics space that will allow people, goods, and services to move across the border quickly and without obstacles. Here are the key developments:

  1. Transport visa-free travel with the EU, thanks to which Ukrainian carriers no longer need separate permits; last year, Ukraine exported goods worth $14.7B (+5%) by road.
  2. Modernization of border infrastructure, by 2030 it is planned to upgrade 29 checkpoints and build 17 new ones.
  3. Joint customs and border control will be launched at the EU border, and a pilot project will be launched on the Ukrainian-Polish border this year.
  4. The eQueue system is in operation at 28 checkpoints, helping almost 1.7 million border crossings.
  5. The Ukrainian maritime corridor – in the year and a half of its operation, more than 100 million tons of cargo have been transported to 53 countries. Ukraine will continue to invest in the development of port infrastructure.
  6. Export support – through the ECA, the state has provided ₴20B in support for exporters in three years; this year, such support has already amounted to ₴1.5B.
