Ukraine will begin construction of a Bayraktar plant.

The Ukrainian Parliament ratified the Framework Agreement between Ukraine and Turkey regarding cooperation in the field of high technologies, aviation, and space industries, signed on February 3, 2022. The agreement defines the conditions for effective use of production, scientific and technical potential of the parties, improvement of the investment climate for Turkish companies, and implementation of investment projects in the field of high technologies, aviation, and space industries. The first part of the project includes the construction and arrangement of a complex of facilities for the production, development, research and development, maintenance, repair, and modernization of unmanned aerial vehicles in the Bayraktar family. The second part of the project envisages the creation of service centers for their maintenance, testing, ongoing repair, and staff training.
