Ukraine will ask ENTSO-E to increase electricity exports to Europe.

As the chairman of the company’s board, Volodymyr Kudrytsky specified that currently more than 600 MW of capacity is being exported to Moldova, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia. The company wants to increase the export limit to Romania and Slovakia, which is 250 MW. In addition, Ukraine plans to increase electricity exports to Poland as part of helping the country with electricity supplies beginning October 1. In addition, commercial supply to Poland is expected to increase due to the opening of a restored power line, which is expected later this year. According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Ukraine seeks to increase the EU electricity export limits to 2,700 MW.
