Ukraine successfully executed the Web special operation, destroying over 40 Russian warplanes and causing billions in losses.

Kyiv launched an impressive large-scale drone assault targeting Russian military bombers in Siberia, hitting more than 40 aircraft thousands of kilometers from Ukraine’s borders. The destroyed aircraft reportedly includes the Tu-95 and Tu-22 M3 long-range bombers, capable of carrying conventional and nuclear weapons, as well as the A-50, used by Russia to launch long-range missiles at Ukrainian cities.
The SBU, Ukrainian special forces, initially smuggled the drones into Russia, later hiding them beneath the roofs of small wooden sheds. These sheds were transported to the airbase perimeters on trucks. A remotely activated mechanism lifted the roof panels, allowing the drones to emerge and commence their attack, according to officials. According to estimates, in one attack Ukraine has destroyed one-third of the Russian air fleet, causing up to $7B in damage.
In a separate development, Russia initiated criminal investigations on Sunday following “explosions” that led to the collapse of two bridges in the border regions of Kursk and Bryansk overnight, derailing trains and resulting in at least seven fatalities and numerous injuries.
