Ukraine plans the return of more than 4.6 million citizens for reconstruction.
Ukrainian authorities are working to create conditions suitable for the repatriation of more than 4.6 million refugee citizens. Without their participation, it will be difficult to complete the task of restoring and rebuilding Ukraine after the war’s end. These plans were announced in Brussels by Economy Minister Yulia Svyridenko after participating in a meeting of the Committee of Permanent Representatives of the EU. She clarified that the plan to return Ukrainians to their homes involves the reconstruction of housing and social infrastructure. In addition, rebuilding will include kindergartens and schools, the creation of appropriate programs for developing women’s entrepreneurship, and employment programs for veterans to respond to the lack of workers in Ukraine’s labor market.
