Ukraine needs security guarantees, not Russia.
Russia is an aggressor that poses a threat to neighboring countries. Therefore, if anyone needs security guarantees, it is Ukraine and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, stated the Deputy Head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Marcin Przydacz. The Polish minister responded to the French President’s statement that Russia will need security guarantees if it agrees to negotiations on ending the war with Ukraine. As Przydacz emphasized, Russia is the aggressor and is actively destroying the international order. “However, now Russia is trying to present everything, on the contrary, using ’old Soviet methods’. It is Russia that attacks other countries, the revisionist state, and Russia that threatens security today. If anyone needs security guarantees against aggressive Russian policy, Ukraine and the countries of Central and Eastern Europe need them,” Przydacz emphasized.
