Ukraine may pay UAH 1.3-2.4B on GDP warrants in 2023.

Experts believe that Ukraine may pay between UAH 1.3B to UAH 2.4B to holders of GDP-warrants in 2023, as economic growth in 2021 could reach 3.2-3.3% of the GDP, experts said, referring to the State Statistics Committee data on the 5.9% growth of real GDP in October-December. According to the ICU analyst Mikhail Demkiv, “With such figures for the fourth quarter, the economic growth for the year will be more than 3.2% of GDP, and the owners of GDP-warrants will get UAH 1.5B at the 2023 rate. According to Dragon Capital economist Elena Bilan, the GDP growth in 2021 was 3.2%. If there is no substantial revision of the data and the GDP deflator remains close to our estimate of 25%, then in May 2023, Ukraine will pay UAH 1.3B to holders of GDP warrants.”, reported Interfax.
