Ukraine is updating the implementation of the BEPS Action Plan to get closer to the OECD and the EU.
On July 10-12, Deputy Minister of Finance Svitlana Vorobei led Ukraine’s delegation at the 15th plenary session in Paris of the OECD/G20 Inclusive Platform on BEPS (Base Erosion and Profit Shifting) to combat tax base erosion and tax evasion.
Ukraine’s delegation signed the updated roadmap for the implementation of the BEPS Action Plan to strengthen efforts to bring the tax system closer to international tax standards. It is also strategically important in anticipation of significant foreign direct investment associated with the period of recovery and reconstruction. Implementing BEPS measures and related capacity-building measures will also help Ukraine strengthen its aspirations to join the OECD and the EU.
With 137 members of the BEPS Inclusive Platform, Ukraine agreed on the Final Statement on the Two-Pillar Solution for solving tax problems related to the digitalization of the economy.
