Ukraine is developing attack UAVs with a range of over 3,000 kilometers.
The National Security and Defense Council Secretary, Oleksiy Danilov, announced the production of Ukrainian-made attack drones with a flight range of over 3,000 kilometers.
Ukraine tech companies have been working on developing long-range drones for the last couple of years. Moreover, the Russian invasion has hastened the production process and forced Ukraine’s government to allocate sufficient funds to increase investments in new technology and production.
According to Danilov, our “Ukrainian swarm” of drones, consisting of dozens of models with a flight range of more than 3,000 km, will fight the enemy at the front lines in the coming weeks.
The day before, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced that Ukraine had prepared the first three strike companies of drones as part of the Drone Army. As previously announced by Fedorov, the Drone Army was fortified with two Ukrainian-made Raybird-3 complexes capable of covering up to 2,500 kilometers.
