Ukraine is aiming to increase uranium production.

Last week, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a plan to develop a nuclear industrial complex through 2026 that calls for the 100% provision of Ukrainian nuclear power plants (NPP) with domestically produced uranium beginning in 2027. “There is a proposal to adopt the concept with a one-day revision to take into account the proposals of the Minister of Finance,” said Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko.
