Ukraine held the first round of talks in the first meeting of the Russian and Ukrainian delegations.

“The Ukrainian and Russian delegations held the first round of talks today, the main purpose of which was to discuss the ceasefire in Ukraine and an end to the hostilities,” said an adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podoliak. “The parties identified several priority topics on which certain decisions have been outlined,” he continued. The parties discussed the possibility of holding a second round of talks soon, in which concrete terms on these topics will receive further attention.
