Ukraine has recorded a total of 29,253 deaths from the coronavirus pandemic

and the total number of infections since the pandemic began a year ago has exceeded 1.5 million, said Health chief Maksym Stepanov on Thursday. The real number is thought to be much higher than official statistics, which only includes medically confirmed deaths resulting from Covid.
