Ukraine has already exported 45 million tons of goods by sea, and revenue from the export of metal products has increased by 16.5%, reaching $1B.
About 1,600 ships exported 45 million tons of cargo from the ports of Odesa during the almost nine months of the Ukrainian Sea Corridor’s operation. In particular, 38 countries received more than 30 million tons of Ukrainian agricultural products. Another 108 ships are on their way to ports, exporting more than three million tons of cargo.
Among exporters, metallurgical enterprises in January-April 2024 increased their revenue from the export of ferrous metals by 16.56% compared to the same period last year, to $959M. Ferrous metals accounted for 7.14% of the total revenue from the export of goods, compared to 6.18% for January-April 2023.
Also, in four months Ukraine has reduced its exports of metal products by 8.1% to $306M, but imports have increased by 47.2% – up to $326M.
