Ukraine continues to work on stopping economic cooperation with Russia and Belarus.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy canceled some decrees on cooperation in some areas of Ukraine with the Russian Federation and Belarus. By his decree No. 653, the head of state suspended several laws enacted between 1994 and 1996. Thus, the following decrees have become invalid: No. 112 on the development of economic cooperation of the regions of Ukraine with the adjacent border regions of Russia, No. 271 on economic cooperation of the regions of Ukraine with the border regions of Belarus and Moldova, No. 287 on involvement in economic cooperation of the Zaporizhzhia region, and No. 495 on the economic collaboration of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea with neighboring territories of Russia. Zelenskyy’s decree entered into force on September 16.
