Ukraine can produce three million UAVs per year, and Brave1 will focus on supporting the missile program.
Ukraine has sufficient production capacity to make more than three million drones every year if sufficient funding is in place, Deputy Minister of Industry Anna Gvozdyar said at the Precision Brave1 hackathon. According to her, the state can partially cover these needs, but Ukraine will ask its foreign partners to finance the remainder.
In turn, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced that the Brave1 defense cluster already has over 2,000 developments that have received $5M in grants.
“We even have a special project. I cannot talk about it yet, but it is related to rocket programs, and this year, there will be hundreds of grants for companies involved in this direction,” he said.
According to him, the cluster managed to successfully implement its experience not only in the field of drones, but also in EW and ground platforms.
He added that Brave1 currently is actively testing and working with UAV laser guidance system manufacturers.
