Ukraine attacks another arsenal and a drone factory in Russia with long-range missiles.
On November 20, an industrial enterprise producing drones came under attack in the Belgorod region, as well as an arsenal in the Novgorod region of Russia. The 13th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate is 680 km from the Ukrainian border, said the head of the NSDC’s Center for Countering Disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko. He stated that the arsenal stored projectiles for barrel artillery; mortar ammunition; Grad MLRS missiles; Smerch, Uragan, and Iskander missiles; North Korean KN23s; S-300 and S-400 anti-aircraft missiles; and ammunition for the Tor complex. On November 19, Ukraine used American ATACMS missiles against the enemy for the first time. Russia reported shooting down five of the six missiles that were launched, but Reuters Pentagon sources say Ukraine fired eight ATACMS missiles, while Russian air defenses shot down only two. It should be noted that after Ukraine’s first strikes deep into Russia, Chinese President Xi Jinping called for an end to the war’s escalation and advocated for a settlement of the conflict.
