Ukraine and the US will meet in Saudi Arabia to discuss peace.

Today, March 10, President Zelenskyy visits Saudi Arabia to speak with the Saudi Arabian prince. Additionally, a meeting between US and Ukrainian delegations to discuss peace matters and a potential ceasefire is scheduled in Jeddah in the coming days.

US President’s Special Envoy Steven Witkoff stated that the goal of the meeting is to establish a framework for a peace agreement and an initial ceasefire.

The Ukrainian delegation includes the Head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palis. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, Witkoff, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio will represent the US side. Among other topics, the parties will address the minerals agreement and work to restore relations following the conflict between the two countries’ leaders in the White House.

“I am confident that the meeting will yield positive results; we in Ukraine are very committed to this. We will do everything necessary to ensure that Ukrainian interests are considered,” President Zelenskyy stated.
