Ukraine and Russia intensify their mutual air attacks.
On August 9 and the night of August 10, Russian troops shelled 10 regions of Ukraine. The Russians destroyed an oil depot in the Rivne region at night with drones. Sumy, Kherson, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia were the most heavily shelled. As a result of a rocket attack, a church and a supermarket were destroyed. Three people died and nine people were injured, including an 11-month-old child. During the night, the Russian military released 10 drones over Ukraine, and air defense forces destroyed seven.
At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that on August 10, Ukraine tried to attack the annexed Sevastopol with 11 drones. Also, Ukraine struck the central region of Russia.
The mayor of the Russian capital, Serhiy Sobyanin, said that air defense forces shot down two attack drones flying towards Moscow around four in the morning. However, the suburbs of Moscow had two explosions near the Domodedovo airport, after which a fire broke out on at least 1,000 square meters.
