Ukraine and Great Britain sign digital trade agreement.

The Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyridenko, and the Minister of International Trade of Great Britain, Kemi Badenoch, agreed on the conclusion of a Digital Trade Agreement, the Ministry of Economy said. The Digital Trade Agreement is designed to create a legal framework for developing digital trade. It will be a single window created for traders and government agencies. Providing for growth in trade of services and the introduction of adequate personal data protection are both expected. The Ukrainian government expects that the agreement will positively affect the national economy, creating a legal foundation for the digital transformation of priority industries and spheres of public life in Ukraine. It will contribute to developing the digital economy, the IT industry, artificial intelligence, and supercomputers.
