Ukraine and Ghana have discussed the creation of food storage logistics hubs.
During the meeting, the Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, Mykola Solskyi, and the Minister of Food of the Republic of Ghana, Owusu Afriyie Akoto, discussed the issue of launching a joint project, a logistics hub for food storage. According to Solskyi, constructing a grain hub will give Ukrainian farmers and traders confidence in supply opportunities, and consumers in Ghana will have access to high quality wheat, which will balance grain prices in the future. According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukraine’s initiative to create food hubs in Africa will provide food security for various nations that depend on Ukrainian grain exports. The guarantee of food stability will be one of the new foundations of relations between Ukraine and the countries of the African continent, the president added.
