Turkey’s coordination center will control grain export from Ukraine seaports.

Yesterday, at a meeting of the military delegations of the defense ministries of Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, and the UN delegation, an agreement was reached on technical issues regarding the export of grain from Ukraine via the Black Sea, said Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar. “The parties agreed to establish a coordination center in Istanbul, where representatives of all parties will be present to jointly control the port entry and exit points and security for shipping on transit routes,” the minister said. According to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the parties achieved critical progress on the issue of grain export from Ukraine by sea. The group’s second meeting is planned for the next week, where details will be recorded, along with with signatures.
