Trump will soon share the specifics of ceasefire talks in Ukraine.

US President Donald Trump promised that he would soon provide detailed information regarding the ceasefire situation in Ukraine. According to him, the US administration has held a series of successful meetings with representatives from both Ukraine and Russia in recent days.

According to the New York Post, Trump’s plan to end the war includes the deployment of European forces in Ukraine as security guarantees. A senior administration official described this mission as a “resiliency force.” Additionally, a separate peacekeeping mission is being discussed that would monitor the ceasefire. This mission could include troops from Ukraine, Russia, and a non-NATO third country, that would be responsible for monitoring the front line. The US may also be involved, but solely financially.

The NYP was unable to confirm through its sources that the WSJ’s reported information stating Washington’s readiness to recognize Crimea as Russian territory.

In turn, Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office, Serhiy Leshchenko, emphasized that Ukrainian leadership does not discuss issues of territorial integrity in negotiations with partners concerning a ceasefire.
