Trump stated that it’s unclear how Ukraine spent the $350B in aid it received from the US; Zelenskyy corrects his counterpart’s figure.

US President Donald Trump remarked that Washington allocated $350B in assistance to Ukraine, but “nobody knows where this money went.” He added that Ukraine “will have to pay or deal with” this issue.
It’s important to note that the Ukrainian government has consistently reported on the usage of Western aid, and international auditing organizations, including US institutions, have found no significant violations. The Office of the President of Ukraine emphasized that all military and financial aid is closely monitored by Ukraine’s partners.
In response to Trump’s remarks, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine has expended more than $320 billion on defense, with $200B originating from military aid provided by the US and the EU, and $120B coming from Ukrainian taxpayers’ contributions. Meanwhile, the US has provided $67B for weaponry, plus an additional $31.5B in direct financial support.
