Trump has resumed military aid to Ukraine, pledging additional support.

US President Donald Trump expressed dissatisfaction with Vladimir Putin’s position on the Ukraine conflict and confirmed that the US will supply Ukraine with additional defensive aid. “We will send more weapons. We have to do it; they must be able to defend themselves,” he stated.

Trump also promised to urgently deliver 10 Patriot interceptor missiles to Kyiv. Concurrently, he encouraged European countries, including Germany, to participate in arms supplies and transfer their own Patriot batteries.

Ukraine has provided Germany with a list of its most needed weapons, valued at several billion euros, which encompasses air defense, protected vehicles, and electronic warfare. The list includes four new Iris-T air defense systems, 1,500 Iris-T SLM missiles, 500 Iris-T SLS missiles, 200,000 40 mm rounds, 1,000 mine-protected vehicles, 200 tracked vehicles, 30 mine-resistant tanks, 20-30 Wisent armored demining vehicles, and 200 all-terrain vehicles. Ukraine also requested 1,000 GPS jammers to counter drones and 200 mobile ground radars.

Additionally, Chief Pentagon Spokesman Sean Parnell announced the shipment of “additional defensive weapons to Ukraine so Ukrainians can protect themselves while efforts continue to ensure a lasting peace and stop the killings.”
