To accelerate the supply of weapons to Ukraine’s armed forces, a specialized military marketplace is being launched in Ukraine.

According to Defense Minister Rustem Umerov this weapons marketplace aims to simplify and expedite weapon deliveries to the military.

“Together with the Defense Procurement Agency and DOT – the State Logistics Operator – we are implementing DOT-Chain Defense, a weapons marketplace that radically changes the approach to provisioning,” he noted.

Using the new system, the military will be able to independently order the weapons it needs for its specific missions. It will also have access to complete information: what exactly will arrive, from whom, and when. “This is more accurate planning, less bureaucracy, faster delivery,” Umerov emphasized.

The official launch of the program is scheduled for July, when the first manufacturers and military units will join the marketplace. Initially, the marketplace will only sell FPV drones. However, its functionality will eventually be expanded to include other UAVs, electronic warfare equipment, and robotic systems. “DOT-Chain Defense is based on the DOT-Chain system, which has already reduced the food supply cycle fourfold and digitized most processes.”
