The WB is considering additional assistance to restore Ukraine’s agricultural sector.

At a meeting with the Minister of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine, Mykola Solskyi, and the leadership of the World Bank, discussions were held regarding both the creation of new programs and financing of existing programs within the framework of the support project through 2025.

In particular, means of providing funds for affordable farm lending under the 5-7-9 program were discussed. The financing program for alternative grain elevator energy sources was also discussed. These measures will help reduce costs and increase the reliability of their services, such as drying and storing food. Solsky also emphasized the importance of supporting the reform of Ukraine’s irrigation system.
