The US will transfer remote mining systems to Ukraine to repel the Russian offensive.

As the Russian offensive grinds on, the US plans to transfer three types of remote mining systems to Ukraine as part of a new $725M military aid package. These are the ADAM (Area Denial Artillery Munition) artillery system, the MOPMS (Modular Pack Mine System) portable system, and the Volcano system for remote mine laying. These weapons are referred to as unstable mines because they are designed to self-destruct after a set time.

As well, the Italian government is preparing its next aid package for Ukraine, which will be approved by the end of this month. It is noted that since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, Italy has provided nine aid packages to Ukraine, which include two SAMP/T air defense systems.

Also, Bulgaria announced it will provide Ukraine with its seventh defense assistance package this year, which will include weapons, equipment, and ammunition. Earlier, the Bulgarian government completed the transfer of 110 BTR-60 armored personnel carriers to Ukraine.
