The US and its allies impose more sanctions against Russia.

The United States and its partners are planning new sanctions on additional sectors of the Russian economy that are crucial to continuing its invasion of Ukraine, including supply chains, said US Deputy Secretary of the Treasury, Wally Adeem. Speaking in London during a trip to Europe to consult with allies on strengthening and enforcing sanctions against Russia, Adeem said the expansion aimed to undermine “the Kremlin’s ability to control its military machine.”
