The Ukrainian government has settled numerous debts on the gas market.

The government continues to work on stabilizing function of the gas and electricity markets. The Cabinet of Ministers has approved resolutions providing for the settling of a significant number of gas market debts. According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, UAH 76B will go to the program to settle debts to natural gas market entities following the previously adopted special law and the corresponding agreement with the heads of cities and communities. According to the prime minister, this decision will enable all gas industry enterprises to continue their work and fulfill their obligations to all consumers.
