The Ukrainian government has allocated ₴13B for reconstruction projects, and France will allocate €200M for these efforts.

The state has designated ₴5B for reconstruction projects across 12 regions. This includes 150 projects under a joint program with the EIB, focusing on repair and construction of hospitals, schools, and kindergartens.

An additional ₴5.2B is earmarked for a pilot project aimed at the comprehensive reconstruction of five settlements in the Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions. The funds will be used for significant repairs and the construction of new housing in these communities, as well as the restoration and modernization of heat, gas, and water supply systems. The reconstruction of transportation and social infrastructure will also be undertaken.

Moreover, the government has allocated another ₴3.3B for projects in the field of medicine, including the restoration of the Okhmatdyt hospital and others.

Additionally, Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko reported that Ukraine and France have approved 19 projects to restore critical infrastructure as part of the €200M agreement. Specifically, France is providing €200M to support Ukraine’s energy transition, housing, healthcare, and demining initiatives within the framework of the Ukraine Fund.
