The Ukrainian Government allocates almost $3M in grants for defense projects.

The Innovation Development Fund of Ukraine will allocate UAH 109M ($2.97M) to security and defense projects. “While the Russian aggression continues, one of the key activities of the Innovation Development Fund will be to support products, projects, and services aimed at strengthening our army and the security of all citizens,” said Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal. He added, Developing the startup ecosystem in defense and security is also one of the priority tasks within the Government’s economic policy, both now and after the end of the war. He clarified that grant funding and support will now be available to drone developers and other technologies necessary for Ukraine.
