The UK’s Deputy Minister of Defense, Annabel Goldie, said the UK will provide armor-piercing, depleted uranium shells to Ukraine.

“Along with providing Ukraine with a squadron of Challenger 2 main battle tanks, we will supply ammunition, including armor-piercing shells containing depleted uranium. Such shells are highly effective at destroying tanks and armored vehicles,” Goldie said.

These are most likely L26 (CHARM 1) or L27A1 (CHARM 3) projectiles. Such projectiles can penetrate all types of Russian tanks, regardless of the degree of protection, the level of armor penetration is up to 700 mm.
