The total damage caused by the Russian invasion has exceeded $100B.

The adviser to the President of Ukraine on economic issues, Oleg Ustenko, said that the damage from Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine has exceeded $100B. Russian troops have destroyed infrastructure, buildings, and other tangible assets in Ukraine. According to him, the country’s business sector is destroyed: 50% of enterprises do not work, and those that do are at less than full capacity. However, he added that the financial system and currency of Ukraine remain stable, despite the current circumstances.
