Summer shelling halved the demand for housing in new buildings.
In August, the demand for apartments in new buildings fell by an average of 40-50% compared to July, according to industry experts. However, after the restoration of uninterrupted power supply, interest in new buildings began to revive.
In mid-September, demand significantly improved and is already up to 80-85% of the indicators from the first two summer months. However, a significant increase in demand this fall is not expected due to the tense economic situation in the country. Most buyers will concentrate on high-quality residential complexes with finished properties. These are primarily facilities built in the safe western regions of the country, as well as in Kyiv and the region.
In general, the drop in demand will result in a price increase in the primary market that will be close to the smallest in the industry. In the fall, the price per square meter is expected to increase by 3-5% and only for objects with a readiness of 60% or more in safe regions.
