The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, visited Brussels to participate in the Eastern Partnership summit.

He met with: the French President, Emmanuel Macron; the German Chancellor, Olaf Sholz; and the head of the European Council, Charles Michael. The leaders coordinated their positions on the implementation of Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations. The Ukrainian President said, “Ukraine’s course towards NATO membership remains unchanged, and support for this course in Ukrainian society continues to grow”. Zelensky also stressed that Ukraine’s strategic goal in relations with the European Union is to gain full membership. The leaders also discussed the development of the security situation along the borders of Ukraine.
