The number of retail establishments in Ukraine that have resumed work is approaching 100%.

At the end of April 2023, the Ukraine Association of Retailers reported that only 3% of retail establishments in Ukraine will remain closed among those that have stopped their work since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Ukraine Association of Retailers reported.

At the beginning of this year, more than 1,000 trade facilities remained closed, and now half of them have reopened (+514). So far, it has been possible for 88% of retail outlets that did not operate in March to reopen. In total, 16,265 of the 16,821 total trade facilities are already working.

The association predicts that a full recovery is possible by the end of the year’s first half, especially after the release of new territories. In general, the number of open retail outlets increased by 26% in 14 months. This process proceeded differently in different areas of trade, but the recovery of trade establishments continues in all segments without exception.
