The new Horizon Capital fund for investment in Ukraine has several participants.
The American International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) invested $25M in the Horizon Capital Growth Fund IV (HCGF IV), which has raised $254M for Ukraine to date.
French Ambassador to Ukraine Etienne de Ponsins signed an agreement on behalf of the Société de Promotion et de Participation pour la Coopération Economique and the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) on investments totaling €17.3M.
$15M in investments in the HCGF IV were announced by Swedfund International AB and the Finnish Fund for Industrial Cooperation (Finnfund).
Another $5M was contributed by the Danish Investment Fund for Developing Countries (IFU).
And the largest participant was the International Finance Corporation (IFC), which contributed $30M in the first round and another $30M in the last.
Another major participant in the HCGF IV is the EBRD, which contributed $40M in the first stage.
The fund has about 40 institutional investors, and its size is expected to reach $300M.
