The Netherlands will subsidize Ukraine’s reconstruction.
The Dutch government has opened a grant program for both Dutch and international companies as well as public associations. This applies to those organizations that want to restore Ukraine, the Netherlands Agency for Entrepreneurship reported.
The minimum grant amount is €500,000, and the maximum is €5M. In addition, applicants can receive reimbursement of up to 100% of the total eligible costs for each project. This year, the program will provide €25M in subsidies.
The grant budget will be distributed among submitted applications on a first-come, first-served basis, based on seven criteria. The greatest emphasis will be placed upon “impact and innovation”. The experience of Dutch companies and organizations in providing access to drinking water, primary medical care, and improving the food product quality can be precious for Ukraine. It is in these areas that subsidies will be provided.
