The Netherlands allocates €350M for F-16 ammunition and drones for Ukraine.
The Netherlands has allocated €150M for air-to-ground munitions for F-16 fighters and €200M for ISR drones for Ukraine, said the country’s Minister of Defense, Kajsa Ollongren, in Kyiv.
The Netherlands will also send a group of F-16 fighter jets to Romania to train Ukrainian and Romanian pilots. The country has already transferred 18 aircraft, and part of the 24 aircraft intended for delivery to Ukraine is being prepared for transfer to the training base.
In addition, Ukraine received the first trade delegation that was established within the security agreement signed with the Netherlands at the beginning of March. During the meeting, Ukrainian and Dutch companies signed five documents regarding cooperation in the defense industry.
“The agreements concern cooperation in the field of innovation, including the joint development of autonomous systems, AI-based solutions, and other technological products”, commented Deputy Minister of Strategic Industry Serhii Boev.
