The largest domestic postal delivery operator will provide financial services in Ukraine and the EU.
Nova Poshta’s payment system NovaPay received an extended license from the National Bank of Ukraine. Now NovaPay has the opportunity to provide new services to individuals and businesses: open and service private and corporate client accounts, issue cards for accounts to individuals, carry out acquiring (i.e. non-cash payment acceptance) for businesses, provide transfers without opening an account, lend, accept money, etc.
“All products and services will be available both in Nova Poshta branches and in the mobile application, which will appear this year,” said NovaPay manager Andriy Kryvoshapko.
In 2022, NovaPay also submitted documents for the Central Bank of Lithuania’s EMI (electronic money institution) license to expand its services to EU countries.
