The issuance of paper documents for sea freight has been abolished.

The Ministry of Infrastructure issued Order №11, which abolished paper documents for sea freight. Port operators and maritime terminals have long used their own information systems to exchange documents and information electronically. Companies independently determine which documents should be used and what does not need to be used, according to the established rules. Adopting this Order will facilitate the implementation of water transport, reduce the pressure of control organizations on enterprises that provide port services, and simplify the circulation of cargo documents in ports, said the Ukraine Ministry of Infrastructure.
