The IMF plans to send a mission to Ukraine in the first quarter.

 The International Monetary Fund is monitoring the situation in Ukraine and plans to hold a second review of the Stand-By lending program, stated the director of the IMF press office Jerry Rice. “In November, the Executive Board approved a schedule for the two tranches remaining under the IMF program for Ukraine,” said an IMF representative He noted that according to this schedule, the start of the IMF evaluation mission for the second review in Ukraine “is expected in the first quarter of this year,” provided that sufficient progress is made to meet the program’s objectives.
