The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution that will facilitate grain fumigation. The Ministry of Agriculture explained the measure as a means to solve the problem of payment for services related to the fumigation of cargo abroad, which is one of the items on the list of services the National Bank of Ukraine must pay for. The new procedure will include services for decontamination and fumigation of exported cargo abroad and the imposition of commission fees. These changes will help unblock the passage of marine vessels carrying agricultural products shipped under the Safe Grain Initiative from Ukrainian ports during martial law.
