The government has allocated ₴1.3B to complete 23 reconstruction projects.


The Cabinet of Ministers has designated over ₴1.28B from the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression to finish 23 reconstruction projects that broke ground in previous years. The plan is to complete the construction of 20 apartment buildings in four regions. The funds will also support the completion of a medical facility in the Sumy region and two educational facilities in the Chernihiv region.
Simultaneously, the government approved the procedure for utilizing ₴128M that have been allocated in the state budget for financing railway infrastructure development projects in cooperation with the EU.
Additionally, in March Autostrada began constructing a new 67.8 kilometer water pipeline to supply drinking water to Mykolaiv, which has only been receiving non-potable water through a pipeline for three years due to infrastructure destruction by Russian troops. The company plans to finish the ₴6.3B project in five months.
Last year, 640 projects valued at ₴17.7B were financed under the Ministry of Development’s budget programs related to reconstruction, with available funding of approximately ₴25B.
