The government allocates UAH 1.7B from the World Bank to individual regions for critical infrastructure repairs.

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the procedure and conditions of the budget subvention for the restoration of critical infrastructure, which will be financed by a loan from the IBRD from the World Bank group. As the Ministry of the Region explained, the decision will allow communities to restore and modernize damaged facilities, including water supply, drainage, heat supply, and waste management enterprises. This, in turn, will contribute to providing consumers with high-quality housing and communal services. More than UAH 1.66B will be distributed to five affected cities: Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Brovary, Kremenchuk, and Zhytomyr.
