The first results from Ramstein: Record package from Britain and €400M in aid from the Netherlands.


The UK has announced a new large aid package for Ukraine, which includes 100,000 drones to be provided throughout the year. This represents 10 times more than last year, and the total is a record, amounting to £350M. The package also includes:
- 140,000 rounds of artillery ammunition that have already been delivered
- £247M for Ukrainian military training
The total amount of military support received from Britain so far this year is £4.5B.
The Netherlands will transfer a new maritime security assistance package to Ukraine worth €400M. As the country’s Minister of Defense, Ruben Brekelmans, specified, the package will include more than 100 ships, including patrol boats, transport boats, interceptors, and special operations ships. It will also include over 50 naval drones, weapons systems, sensors, spare parts, and a training program for Ukrainian specialists.
Germany, for its part, is seeking opportunities to acquire Patriot systems from partner countries for subsequent transfer to Ukraine, said German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.
US President Donald Trump has not yet made a decision regarding future military assistance to Ukraine, as he is focused on ending the war, stated US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker.
