The explosion of the Kakhovka HPP deprived the occupiers of control over 375 square kilometers of territory.
The high water deprived the occupiers of their previously occupied positions in at least 12 settlements on the left bank of the Dnipro River, and in some areas, flooding pushed the Russian troops back by 10 kilometers, reported ISW.
Moreover, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, during the day the Ukrainian military advanced in three directions: the Bakhmut area, the Toretsky area, and the Berdyan area, taking control of another 3 square kilometers of territory. The advance in the Bakhmut area last week on the left flank was 1.5 kilometers, and on the right about 3.5 kilometers. Ukrainian troops advanced 6.5 kilometers in the Donetsk and Tauriy operational zones.
The total area of liberated Ukrainian land in the eastern and southern directions is more than 100 square kilometers. At the same time, the aggressor changed the direction of the attack, trying to occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions completely.
