The European Commission and the world’s leading economies have released a plan of action against Russia.

 The European Commission, France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States issued a joint statement expressing solidarity with the people of Ukraine and announcing measures they will be implementing over the next few days. “We, the leaders of the European Commission, France, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States, condemn Putin’s war, which chose war and attacked the sovereign state and people of Ukraine. We stand by the government and the Ukrainian people in their heroic efforts to resist the Russian invasion. We will hold Russia accountable and collectively ensure that this war becomes a strategic defeat for Putin,” the statement said.
